Two Minutes of Bliss

I was in the warehouse of  a company for whom I was doing work today when a quartet of women showed up to deliver a singing telegram to one of the employees. When they started singing, the experience was transcendental. In a cold, utilitarian environment, there were two minutes of perfection.  I was close enough to hear the lyrics, but they were lost in the intonations of the a capella group. These women could sing. A bit of magic in an otherwise ordinary day.
